This morning, we went to the kindergarten nearby to inquire about our application, since we didn’t hear from then over the whole summer holidays. The director said if we want, I could go to the afternoon session right away. Papa nodded instantly and Mommy raised her shoulders (she didn’t want me to go). And I was gone checking the toys there.
Lets go papa.
Had fun in kindergarten. Papa said I took it much better than Mommy. Mommy misses you. Poor Mommy.
I didn’t see them when they sneaked in later to pick me up. I wanted to stay there longer but they say everybody is going home. Enuf fun for today. And there’s always tomorrow.

When I ain’t busy coloring or photographing, I bug mommy; and papi too, to sing songs from A Child’s Treasury of Nursery Rhyme book. I just love the songs from that book. BTW.: By the look of the book, one could see that it´s heavily used. Worth every cent! Some of the songs I can sing them myself. Mommy would ROFL when she hears that, but papa has been very supportive and was able to maintain himself.
So, here is my list – if Mommy doesn´t get it all mixed up or forget a few of them. Some of them are not from that book.
- Goosey Gander
- Wee Willie Winkie
- Humpty Dumpty
- Rock-a-bye Baby
- Papaku Pulang –malay nursery song
- Jack and Jill or I call it Jack and Girl
- Sing a Song of Sixpence
- Mary Had a Little Lamb
- Grand Old Duke of York
- Old King Cole
- Hush Little Baby or I say Goat Runs Away
- Diddle, Diddle, Dumpling, My Son John or Trousers On
- I Saw You in The Orchard
- Baa, Baa Black Sheep
- Georgie Porgie
- Pease Porridge Hot
- Frère Jacques – I can sing and mix this w the English version Brother John
- Ride a Cock Horse to Banbury Cross
- Ring a Ring o’ Roses
- Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star

My parents are contemplating the career path I would take when I grow up. Maybe I would be a great photographer like Ansel Adam and the like?
I did finish one roll film with this camera. However, not long after that the camera fell apart. Mommy was a bit sentimental about it; it was her first camera. She hid it somewhere later.

A few things I like to play with. Of course papa and Mommy are my best objects. Little did I know that the camera doesn’t even have a film.
On Monday when I woke up, I started calling Mommy mum. Out of the blue. Just like that. She was wondering where I got tht from. Papa said that I have been calling him “pap” since a few days. Mommy didn´t like tht “mum” somehow and esp not at the end of every sentence. OK mum. First she didn´t wanna say anything abt it and papa said it will go away in two days. But at noon she keeps correcting me. I didn´t understand why. Weird mum.
She said: “I am mama”.
I answered: “Ich bin Zuleikha”

We decided to go for a walk on Sunday afternoon, which we didn´t do tht often. Freising , for a reason unknown to us, has alot of bear´s statues especially in the pedestrian zone.
Chesse bear. yum yum.
Even bear in Brazilian jersey is here.
And one more.
Afraid that I would be too tired to walk home, we decided to take the bus. As the bus was leaving the bus station, it was pouring and all the way home. We were wet like a cat. True enuf; I fell asleep on my plate while having dinner. I protested a bit tho, when mommy picked me up and brought me to bed. Soon I was in lala land.
In conjunction with its 10th anniversary, KIKA (Kinder Kanal) – children channel, airs its birthday song almost everyday. So every so often I would sing it esp the chorus:
Wie schön, dass es den KIKA gibt,
bei allen Kindern sehr beliebt,
Wir gratulier’n zum 10. Jahr,
mach weiter so, denn du bist wunderbar.
Sth like; how nice there is KIKA, loved by all kids, we congratulate you on the 10th year, keep up because you are great.
27th June 2007.
Two and a half years on this planet.
One of my fave songs:
Jack and Jill
go get water,
see Oma doctor.
Who cares! it rhymes somehow.
